SHYNE is a multidisciplinary institution on a mission to eradicate the intergenerational racial and gender inequity faced by Black women and girls. Our program combines spirituality with psychology, sociology and holistic wellness in order to empower transformative self-care, humanity restoration and leadership development.
Through our innovative curriculum, Black women deconstruct the generational trauma etched into their DNA, align with their divine destiny and adopt lifestyle practices that sustain their lineage and societal impact; without self-depletion.

Iya Oloruntomi is an esteemed daughter, sister and godmother who serves as a conduit for diasporic liberation. With over two decades of combined expertise as a spiritualist, educator and community organizer, she holds a significant wealth of knowledge in personal, interpersonal and institutional development.
